Job Description

Global IT Help Desk – (Global SOP)
 

Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will be:
– Providing technical support / problem resolution thru phone / email / chat
– Building relationships quickly with customers and understand the dynamics of a global business environment

Qualifications / Skills:

– Basic network Fundamentals

o Firewall

o Ports

o DNS, Proxy, NTP

o TCP/IP

o basic IP routing,

o basic network troubleshooting

– configuring operating systems like Windows XP, windows 7

– background on cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS etc. Lots of articles can be found on google)

– VPN (Virtual Private Network)

– Basic knowledge on Windows Servers (2003 or 2008)
