Job Description
A five-acre resort hotel set facing the majestic sunset with delightful amenities to choose and enjoy. The resort hotel have an upgraded facility with our 24/7 wireless fidelity access and security. We offered hotel rooms, membership, functions and seminars for corporate and social events. Our amenities include swimming, billiards, table tennis, bar & restaurant, Jacuzzi, picnic huts and massage services. We cater to a variety of clients from corporate, government & non-government organizations, travel agencies, wide variety of foreign travelers, OFW’s, balikbayans and local tourists.
Line Cook
(Western Visayas – Bacolod City)
Responsibilities:
- Prepares all foods in accordance to standard recipes and as specified by the guest
- Oversees food preparation and kitchen staff to ensure quality production
- Visually inspects, selects and uses only food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items
- Checks and controls the proper storage of product and portion control, e.g., especially high cost meat and fish items
- Keeps all refrigeration, storage, and working areas in clean, working condition to comply with health department regulations
- Ensures all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working condition
- Maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen
Requirements:
- At least Diploma/Short Course graduate or Culinary is an advantage
- Minimum of 1 year cooking experience, hotel experience preferred
- Ability to take directions, to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Good working knowledge and understanding of accepted standard of sanitation and food handling procedures
- Must be disciplined and self motivated
